Panoramic X-rays and CT scans serve different functions.

With a panoramic X-ray, it is possible to check whether an impacted tooth

but because it is a two-dimensional image, it is difficult to tell whether it is truly touching nearby structures

or whether it only appears to overlap in the image.

Therefore, as needed,

a CT scan that allows the teeth to be checked three-dimensionally

is performed.

Q. Do I need to come back after the extraction❓

After wisdom tooth extraction,

about one week later,

you need to visit again to remove the stitches

and check the recovery progress.

Q. Is scaling really necessary before wisdom tooth extraction❓

is to remove tartar and plaque accumulated on the teeth,

✅No drinking/smoking!

Please avoid alcohol and smoking for one week.
