The decision belongs to the patient,
and we are the people who help ensure that decision
does not turn into regret.
Hello.
I am Ban Hogyung, a board-certified plastic surgeon whose specialty is eye surgery and whose strongest skill is revision eyelid surgery.
Have you ever felt confused because the explanations were different every time you visited a hospital?
"This hospital says one thing, that hospital says something different, so what on earth is right?"
Younger patients often come after researching information carefully in advance, so even after visiting several hospitals, they often feel that the explanations are not very different. On the other hand, older patients may have had fewer opportunities to access information beforehand, so after hearing one hospital’s explanation, they may feel as if another hospital’s explanation is wrong.
Of course, standards can differ from hospital to hospital.
Even for the same issue, the consultation will inevitably differ if the approach is different.
But sometimes, rather than simply being a difference in approach, some hospitals dismiss other hospitals’ methods just to insist, "Our hospital is right."
One hospital says, "This is the correct method," while another says, "That’s wrong; the method we use is the right one."
From the patient’s perspective, this often means hearing only one-sided claims from the hospital, and being pushed to make a decision quickly rather than receiving enough information.

We don’t beat around the bush.
"This is like this, and that is like that." We explain it honestly and exactly as it is.
Rather than insisting that one side is always right,
we provide neutral, objective information: "This surgery has these advantages, and that surgery has those advantages. The explanation at Hospital A means this, and the explanation at Hospital B means that."
Our role is to help patients hear enough information and make their own judgment without being pressured or steered toward a specific choice.

We perform both surgery and procedures.
Most hospitals either do surgery only or procedures only.
By contrast, we do both surgery and procedures.
That is why we do not say things like, "A procedure is enough" or "Surgery is always the answer" as if we were a hospital that only does one.
Sometimes, people think, "I don’t want to go as far as surgery, but if a procedure can help, maybe I should try it." They undergo a procedure, but in the end do not get the result they wanted and choose surgery.
At that point, if they had heard enough from the beginning and judged what was right for them, they could have reduced unnecessary expenses and wasted time.
So we do not charge a consultation fee.

We believe that we must prevent people from making decisions while feeling uncertain because of the burden of a consultation fee.
"Come comfortably and ask anything you want."
Whether you choose surgery, a procedure, or nothing at all, you do not need to feel pressured.
We are a hospital that gives patients honest information and helps them make the best choice for themselves.
We believe that is the principle we must uphold.
The decision belongs to the patient, and we are the people who help ensure that decision does not turn into regret.
We are Bani Plastic Surgery.
